Hmm, according to the human profile in the main rulebook humans have Re 8 and Rx 6. That means they'll be breaking the Re 8 standard and be quite squishy. No wonder the Org'kkha and Lidds don't have many two handed weapons. In fact it practicaly makes the human looks like elves. When I saw the profiles for the Org's and Lidds I assumed they were built around the same standard as the dwarfs and decided that Re 9 wasn't high. The dwarfs weren't any tougher but they just had more armour options. Now it looks like the Lidds and Org'kkha are tough too.

And yet I only need average damage rolls to wound them. With Re 8 that means the squires might all get light armour to make it up to a 9. Maybe the Hussars will get an extra point of Re too to make them last a bit longer.

I think 3-5 Hussars and 10-6 Squires will be something close to average for 400pts ;)

So take off 100 for the hero, adjust for jiggle room... that means squires about 18-24 points each with Hussars being around 30-35 points each? Just a geuss. I've ordered myself some now (couldn't wait for the second squire or the Hetman, I'll have to buy them later).

Incidentaly I've finished painting the Lidd Youngblood and will hopefuly take some pictures of her soon :).

Hey that's lovely. I've put a photo of the youngblood in the same thread as the warrior. I'll sort through the other pictures that I took and chuck out the bad ones.

Looking at the squire models I've just started to get an idea of how nasty lots of squires with spears and bows would be. And shields too. They could run up, stab you with the spear, then anyone else could attack without fear of reaction strikes. And if all the squires had spears.... It'd be like Lidd Youngbloods with spears mobbing poor defenceless Org'kkha who never get to strike back.......

I'm actualy tempted to try an all squire warband for a one off. A hetman and as many squires as I've got assorted models from various games for. I'm not sure how well the squires would fare without the hussars but it could be fun to find out :).
